Being an International Relations student, I have a different perspective how I see the world. World is changing, evolving. And I am going to make sure that I will be in the frontline of the future changes. Since the early age of my life, I commit myself to be an International Relations analyst: tracking the history pattern, casting the future, recommending policies and best practices. Ultimate goal: creating a better place for people.
I started my International Relations analyst by fostering my analytical and writing skill in advance. Working on a research center and leading a Research and Development Division in several organization makes me aware that ideas is my biggest ammunition. Although I cast my idea for the greater good, I believe I have personal authority towards my intellectual property. Originality and functionality are the values I profess in my professional career.
Originality is self-explanatory. I love to make innovative ideas: those that never been thought before. Instead of browsing on internet to find examples and inspiration, I prefer to ask deep into my heart and mind, letting myself drown into self-contemplation: So, what are you thinking, Indah? Being an International Relations analyst, originality means filling a niche in a scholarship, creating a new idea how International Relations grows, prevails, works, and makes a difference. Originality means you do not copy other people’s thought: identifying your view towards what happens in the world. Therefore, people can actually identify you with your certain idea.
Idea is a fragile thing. You need to save it and get it publish, do not ever let it evaporates and gone from your mind. It is a salient part of being an analyst. Let other people know your idea and let them get inspired. When your ideas can make a difference, even only to a single person’s life, your ideas have the functionality aspect.
The values I profess making my life more meaningful. I know what I am doing and believe that what I uphold is a sacred thing. Ideas are my ammunition, my power, and the best part of me. I respect other people’s ideas and get mine to be. I am a professional thinker. I am an International Relations analyst.Tags: Ethics, International Relations, SUSI BSU, USA, Values
